Butters maternal half-brother, Willowbrand Flying Cymro, was the 2014 WPCSA American National Adult English Pleasure C/D Reserve Champion, finished 4th Nationally for Adult English Pleasure C/D and was the 2014 South Central Regional Champion. Flying Cymro was also the Adult English Pleasure C/D Champion at the 2014 TAPS Show and 2nd in his Section D Cob Gelding class, beat out by his paternal half-brother, Willowbrand Saith ap Michael, who is owned by country music star Amanda Lambert. Buttercup's maternal half-brother, Bendroni won the 2014 Alberta Welsh Futurities Grand Champion Section C/D Cob 2 & Under and is now pursuing an eventing career in Washington.

Butters dam, Ranlan Rhiannon, was presented to the RPSI in 2015 and received Premium Mare scores and second highest scoring pony mare in North America. She is a fabulous mover, has a wonderful temperament and is by the imported sire, *Trevallion Royal Consort LOM, who is a Reserve National Champion and multiple Nation Champion in driving.

Ranlan Rhiannon's dam, Canterbrook Legacie, is a multiple U.S. National Champion and has competed in everything from Training Level eventing, 2nd Level dressage, hunter/jumper to western pleasure and is one of the most successful and versatile performance Cob mares in North America. Daventry Equestrian had the pleasure of having Legacie in the barn for several years. She was extremely quiet, laid back and aimed to please. She was an absolutely uncomplicated ride, with three smooth gaits and absolutely no spook! She competed successfully at Spruce Meadows in 2013 with a junior rider. She recently won the 2015 Alberta Silver Provincial Championships Reserve Champion Junior Second Level Dressage.

Butters sire line comes from the well-known imported Welsh Cob stallion, *Synod Lord Percival. Synod Lord Percival is a multiple Supreme Champion and WPCSA National Champion. He has been shown successfully in everything from hunters to pleasure driving.

Butters is a striking mare, is extremely personable and aims to please. Born broke, she is friendly, easy to catch, exceptionally easy going and a dream to work with. She is always the first one to greet you out in the field. She clips, loads, ties, baths and stands politely for the farrier. We believe Butters is a rare smoky brown rather than buckskin, though testing for the At (brown) gene is currently unavailable. Butters was shown on the southern U.S. WPCSA circuit in 2016 and finished the show season as the 2016 WPCSA Reserve National Champion Section D Filly. She has been started under saddle and is showing herself to be a willing, smooth, and unflappable ride.
